The Grade 10 learner shall select a minimum of 7 subjects to take through to Grade 12. These subjects will be configured as follows:

Each subject presentation is required to follow the Subject Assessment Guidelines (SAGS) set down by the Department of Education. These guidelines are approved annually by UMALUSI, the state’s appointed accreditation body for the NSC.
